"Great stay here on my first night in Sri Lanka. Really clean, modern, and everything you would expect from a hotel of this quality. It's also very close to Colombo Fort station which is useful if you are going to continue the trip by train! I didn't use the pool but had a drink there and it looks great - one note was that the service was quite slow! Breakfast options were vast. Would definitely stay here again. "

"beautiful serene hotel directly facing the lagoon. We enjoyed very much staying there, the complimentary foot massage and lovely views. the pool looked stunning, even though we did not swim. we would like to see more lagoon activities - ie kayaks and paddle boats for rent from the hotel."

"Beautiful lagoon-front self-contained hotel, room was spotless, staff the most courteous and helpful I’ve ever met. Lagoon tour (arranged by front desk) was peaceful, full of birds, Captain Rohan a fantastic guide to birds and wildlife. Transportation to Negombo is via tuktuk, driver Asim polite and exceptionally kind (provided tour of Negombo and a short errand for salt and Type G adapter for my travels, Amagi Aria has universal outlets but the rest of Sri Lanka has Type G). "Worst ever hotel. I have no idea how Expedia give them 5star. This is not even close to 3 star. Power breaker goes off every minute. Keeps changing room and nothing is fixed. Never going to stay in this hotel. You should consider giving a professional assessment before rating stars to a property "
