「Wonderful hotel!」

「Rooms were nicely appointed; facility has nice pool and eating options. Didn't use spa but appeared to have many services. Located right on beach, so you need only walk out the pool area and take in the ocean. Room wrist band used to get towels and beach chairs/umbrella. Breakfast not included. Definite negative is the "activity fee" of $40/day whether you use anything or not. Otherwise, nice place to stay in Marco.」

「The Escalante is excellente! A real haven right on 5th Avenue and an easy walk to the beach although you don’t need to walk as they provide a cart to take you. The pool area is great too and as there aren’t many rooms, it was easy to get comfortable sun loungers. I have stayed at major chain hotels all over the world and our stay at the Escalente was right up there with the best. The staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble.
