「The worst thing was that Wotif sold me accommodation that did not exist. For a group of ten, that was a problem. The staff were very helpful in sorting something else. Wotif was a near disaster. Property has moved and is under construction. Taking tht into account, it was excellent. We had dinner. We had two people who were gluten free and told them. Part of dinner was not gluten free, but they did then prepare something appropriate.」

「A lovely, peaceful place to stay. Corné was very attentive, and we enjoyed talking to him about Namibia. Wildlife came close to our lodge. Meals were very tasty and wholesome. We opted for a barbecue on the hilltop at sundown. It was beautifully set up for our evening, and we had good food and conversation with Corné and Cindy. We felt very well looked after.」

「Lovely country lodge with private rooms. We liked the kitchen gardens at each chalet. Pleasant (if rather cold!) swimming pool. Enjoyable dinners and the sundowner balcony was sublime. Overall memory is of every single member of staff going the extra mile to be friendly and helpful. 」

「Wir haben vor Ort ein Upgrade auf das große Zelt gebucht. Das ist wirklich phantastisch! Ebenfalls großartig ist der Sundowner auf dem Berg mit einmaliger Aussicht. Abendessen gut, Frühstück könnte besser sein. Eierspeisen werden individuell zubereitet, allerdings nur auf Nachfrage.」

「The positioning of the lodge is its defining freaturr as the views are spectacular and available from every room and the main building. The quality of the food was high with a set menu and 'fine dining' feel. The track up to the lodge is steep and a 4x4 is needed if you don't take the lodge's lift. The activities offered are a little limited and at the upper end of the prices of other lodges. The overall value for money is less than some lodges, but if you like views it's worth it.」

「Auf unserer dreiwöchigen Namibia-Rundreise war das die beste Unterkunft: Luxuriöses, modern ausgestattetes Zimmer mit einem sehr großzügigen und modernen Bad, eine sehr schöne Terrasse mit einem tollen (Infinity-)Pool, dazu ein hervorragendes Abendessen mit einem sehr frischen und reichhaltigen Angebot. Das Personal ist - von der eher kühl wirkenden Mitarbeiterin am Empfang abgesehen - sehr freundlich.」
