"The hotel is fine, but it could definitely use an update. I was happy to see a fan included in the room, as it did get very hot. The hotel pub was great with live Irish music, as well as the vast morning breakfast."

"The staff at the hotel were great, really kind & helpful. The room very big, had everything we needed in it. However the bathroom was very rundown, felt dirty. Lots of old shower products on the tiles, hair in the bath. I asked for it to be cleaned again, however it still felt old and dirty after the second clean. Location of the hotel was great, right in the centre of town but not noisy. Parking across the road was handy, it’s cheaper to pay the carpark directly than pay via the hotel....

"The Brooklodge is a beautiful hotel and the grounds are immaculate and lovely to walk around. It is a lovely old style building with a separate building called "brookhall" that has rooms and a geothermal pool. There is an amazing restaurant called the Strawberry tree restaurant, a great leisure centre. Overall, i think it is a little gem and off the beaten track but it is a must see. There is also a lovely quaint looking church beside a river stream-ideal for weddings. "
