"We had a large one bedroom apartment with a good view of the golf course. It’s not a resort (like others on the island) but it was what we wanted. Close to port / restaurants and walked to other resorts for lunch / dinner a couple of times. We were also able to cook a few times in the kitchen. Apartment was showing some signs of wear and tear. Service was mostly decent but varied depending on who you spoke to. "

"Our stay at the Mai Tai Polynesia was amazing. There were no over the water bungalows available online when we booked a reservations but something opened up when we got there and Julia assisted us with upgrading. She was very kind and so helpful. It was so worth it. There are coral reefs right below the bungalows and we were able to snorkel right from our deck. The customer service was amazing. The rooms are large. The food is good. "Check in time is too late in the afternoon. Especially coming in early morning. Please consider moving check in time a bit earlier, like noon. "
