「 There are two problems with this inn. One is the backpacker dormitory attached and noisy. It is also noisy because there are more migrant workers staying there than tourists, the SECURITY of the rooms is not good, and there is no electric kettle in the room. Secondly, the reception staff is not professional as they seem to be working holidaymakers. The receptionist is also in charge of the bar and food, so even in a simple old city, you will be treated again. I would not recommend this place...

「Room was very good, well fitted out and clean. A lot of construction around the site but from what i saw once construction is finished the area will be much improved. 」

「The food was First Class. Appreciated the seemless way the stay managed dietary requirements. Since a lot of individual travellers are carrying car fridges it would be Great to have access to a power point. Thanks to all the friendly Staff who made our stay so lovely. 」

Very nice meals, storage of red wine needs attention due to warm climate plus body lotion in cabins to reduce wastage (rancid from afternoon heat buildup). ‘Coffee machine issues’ need to be managed better during periods of full capacity.」

「The large apartment was super. A/C and fans worked perfectly. Really comfortable bed. Huge TV and large terrace, although very loud family next door, who had to shout all the time. That apartment was not one managed by Cable Beach Apartments.」

「Tent glamping stay at the Station was very good. Close to ablutions. Very comfortable bed. Air conditioned tent. Food is outstanding. Compliments to the chefs! Live entertainment every night. Central to walks and gorges. No road sign at Gibb River Rd turn off the highway. 」

「We had a great stay here with our baby in one of the safari tents. We loved the pool and the restaurant served tasty food. Safari tent was comfortable and air conditioning worked well. Some nice walks around the property (watch out for the crocs). Unfortunately couldn’t go on water tours as our baby is too young.」
