"Property was well maintained and room was immaculate with everything you need for a short stay.....will definitely be coming back during the summer season and will enjoy having a drink on the balcony. Breakfast was also great with something for everyone and all fresh and delicious. Location was great with Byward Market less than a 5 minute walk away and Parliament Hill also a short 20 minute walk away. A definite winner all around."

"I had a wonderful stay at Sonder Rideau. The one-bedroom apartment was clean and tidy. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, making for a great night’s sleep. The only downside was the air conditioning/heating unit, which was a bit too loud- even on the lowest fan setting- so I had to turn it off at times. "fridge is loud. door is thin and has a gap from the floor. can hear sound from the hall. prefer to book when it is not busy. breakfast is good. staff is really friendly and helped me to change to a room that is not facing the street. room facing the street is thin and can hear cars. no slippers provided."

That said, the reception staff were kind and friendly, and the location was excellent- just a 10-15 minute walk to the mall and nearby restaurants/cafes. The shower had consistently hot water, which was great. Access to the unit was simple using a code or digital keypad. I also appreciated the option to check in and out early for a small fee through the app. Overall, a great experience!"
