「This was the first stop after 600 miles driving only to find the hotel locked up. I had seen that the Restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday (from their own website, but not Hotels.com) one of the reasons for choosing this hotel, but did not expect the Hotel to be closed. At the door there was a sign saying we speak French, z German and English. There was a note on the door (in French only) which I worked out said if you arrive to find the door locked call this number. I called to hear...

「Accueil chaleureux, bonne cuisine locale, hôtel très sympa 」

「La patronne est vraiment sympathique et très bonne cuisinière. Les chambres sont correctes et on est au calme. Attention aux prix qui sont élevés ! Pour info j’ai payé 370 euros pour deux nuits et deux repas, et on ne choisit pas ce qu’on mange et les petits déjeuners ne sont pas à volonté.」

「Guter Ausgangspunkt um die elsässische Weinstraße zu erkunden. Colmar und Straßburg sind vom Hotel aus gut zu erreichen. Ebenso ist es ein schöner Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen. Weinkenner werden auf ihre Kosten kommen. Und natürlich kann man bestens die elsässische Küche Kennenlernen. 」

「Séjour agréable, personnel disponible et prévenant, température des pièces un peu juste à mon goût (période très froide), repas disponible appréciable en cette période (même si trop copieux et un peu onéreux), chambre propre et spacieuse avec terrasse non utilisée malheureusement」
