"Whatever you remember about youth hostels, this ain't it. Modern, clean, not cheap (it's Switzerland), and it has a very nice wellness spa for a rather reasonable additional charge. Food is good but not fancy, and staff were extremely helpful. The only glitch was that I booked this stay with OneKeyCash, and hotels.com (i.e., expedia) took my money and gave me a receipt showing no balance due, but then didn't actually pay the hostel! "The host went above and beyond to be helpful and to make sure we enjoyed and made the most of our stay. The free transpiration pass that was included in our nightly rate allowed us to go up any tram, gondola or take any bus, anytime, as many times as we wanted to for free during our stay. "Paolo was an amazing host. The B&B is in a fantastic location right off the main road. There are 4 rooms total, each one is decorated with unique antiques and artwork that Paolo has collected. Paolo gave us great recommendations for what to see in town. During breakfast we had a wonderful meal, and spent over an hour talking with Paolo about many interesting topics, from travel to politics. He is an architect and has done the renovation to this house himself, and is working on several other...
