"This is a great resort location but a little inconvenient and somewhat isolated. The rooms are spacious and well serviced. There is 24 hour staffing but limited to basic needs. There are no dining options at the location itself and nearby eating options are limited. The hotel offers free entry to a local onsen about 5-10 minute drive from the hotel. "I really loved this retro hotel on top of the mountainside. I had the mysterious looking onsen all to myself several times around 9-10 pm and it was so cool. The view is amazing and the food was very good. Just know that you are really in the countryside and to get to Onomichi it is going to take at least an hour using public transit. "An excellent place to stay if you’re biking the Shimanami Kaidō. The views are breathtaking, and the apartment is incredibly comfortable. I especially appreciated the washer and dryer — a huge plus after two full days of intense cycling. The attention to detail, stylish decor, and overall design are top-notch. Highly recommended! A couple of things to keep in mind: (1) the property is located at the top of a hill, so getting there requires a bit of a climb, and (2) the nearest convenience store...
