「Olimme täällä yhden yön, tarkoituksena kiertää Anuradhapuran temppeleitä. Sijainti oli syrjässä keskustasta, mutta saavuimme vasta illallisen jälkeen ja lähdimme heti aamupalan jälkeen, joten sijainti ei haitannut. Temppelit on niin laajalla alueella, että niiden kiertämiseen tarvitsee joka tapauksessa jonkun kulkupelin. Tämä paikka järjesti meille auton ja kuljettajan. 「The pictures are deceiving. Positive thing is that the room is spacious and AC is fantastic. Everything else is something to criticize on. I.e a ton of mosquitos, washroom is full of stains, the doors to the bathroom doesn’t close properly making mosquitos to fly into the room through the bathroom. The bed had mattress cover but no blankets whatsoever and had to explicitly request one, which showed up as if a few cats picked a fight in it. 」

「The place itself was acceptable, the problem was that when we arrived the room was not ready the owner said that he needed 5 minutes to make the bed. When we looked into the bathroom it was dirty and welet him know and asked for another alternative as we needed to use it after a long trip, we had to wait. More than cleaning he spill some water and dried everything with a towel he left on the floor. We had to keep asking for basic necessities as soap, towels, toilet paper. The owner tried to...

「Mmmm...on arrival we were made to feel very unwelcomed. We were not expected and then was criticised for booking through Expedia because the $ the host received was a much smaller % compared to other booking groups! (I then learnt that Hotels.com is owned by Expedia!!) We got an 'upgrade' which was not necessary. The rest of the o/n stay was pleasant.」
