Additionally, the room wasn't clean, and the towels provided were dirty, so I had to get my own. The heating wasn't functioning, and it was uncomfortably cold. 「Host was very welcoming, then you are left alone with own entrance to property which is fantastic. The decor is just as you would expect from a budget guesthouse but everything is spotlessly clean. They have everything you need for a low cost and comfortable stay.」

「Beautiful lodge in a fantastic spot right on the east durham coastal path with fabulous views. The lodge was fully equipped with everything you could possibly need a real home from home. Lovely furniture on the decking to sit and eat, dolphin spot or just watch the world go by!」

「Super place to stay - right on rhe beach and near the pubs and restauarants. Secure parking round the back or parking on the green. The room was fabulous, splotlessly clean, tea and coffee, and bottled water . Breakfast was superb and the staff are lovely and friendly. I will definitely return !」

「What a lovely place to stay. All self service but received on point instructions from Dave. We stayed in Room 6 and it was really nice. I would only ask for bigger towels and firmer pillows. There is on site parking which I would say allowed 2 cars if people parked right. Location was good too, not far from beach 」
