Harold really made it an unpleasant check-in experience. He didn't greet us, and kept insisting on getting my credit card and ID as he clearly saw I was trying to get my wallet out.
He snapped my ID on the desk, cracked his knuckles, and started humming impatiently.
If I could have cancelled with a full refund, I would have.
I am a full time traveller, and was surprised by his rude, impatient service.
He said he had been working here for a long time, so maybe he is due for some retraining in customer service.
I am a GUEST in this hotel, and should have at least been greeted with a simple hello before repeatedly being asked for my ID.
At least the guests behind us got a welcome. Haha.
