"Ok location. Hoped the lazy river had tubes but didn't see any. When we arrived to the room, door wasnt locked. We found a bed sheet in the kitchen and bed not done. They sent the cleaning lady. She used her key to come in without knocking & on her phone. She was rushing and dropped the pillows on the floor. Not the best intro to the location. Wish they had a restaurant or Cafe"

It’s not perfect, but the staff, location, and beach itself more than make up for the minor inconveniences… We had such a nice experience, that I don’t want to call this a “cons” list, just things to be aware of if you are traveling with a family. 1. Families of 5+ should know ahead of time that the bathrooms are tight. The sink is located outside of the shower and toilet area. The “bathroom” room is just a shower and toilet. "We absolutely loved our stay at Dunes Village and would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Myrtle Beach area, especially those with younger kids. The rooms are cleans and spacious, have a kitchen and microwave - perfect for young families. There are 2 indoor water parks, and a number of pools next to the resort, with the beach just a few steps away. Chill out on the beach then wash the sand off and cool down with a drink next to the pool! They also have a nice restaurant...

"The front desk is amazing at this hotel. They work well with every request. Our room was ready early and they let us check in. We wanted a room on an upper floor and they easily accommodated that. They are amazing. Parking is limited and tight but every hotel experiences this. Our room was great with a kitchenette. It was clean. They did not vacuum everyday and that would have helped. The access to the beach is easy."

"The property is right off the beach which is great. The breakfast buffet choices were splendid and delicious. Parking was a bit tricky as its across the street but convenient and free. Didn't use the water rides, but it looked clean and fun."
