"Single room was good, cozy room with good rain shower head. Staff were nice enough, not many amenities to speak of in the hotel, and the area around the hotel was...dubious, but it is close to Euston station and underground so can move about London well enough. I stayed one night as was doing a work course in London, didn't spend much time in the room except to sleep and shower which is completely acceptable."

"The hotel was a short walk from Pimlico underground. The guys on reception couldn't do enough for us. Rooms were really nice with plenty of tea and coffee. Ensuite was perfect and bed was comfy. Nice choice for breakfast and freshly made. Only downside ... we were on the top floor and there isn't a lift ... about 12 flights of stairs and it nearly killed me!!! "

"We enjoyed our stay here! It was me my husband and my mom staying and we shared a small room but that was all we needed for a night in London. Close to Victoria station a nice pub close by and a store to by water etc right next door! Great location to get on the hill on hop off bus and to Buckingham palace (within walking distance). Many other restaurants and shops by the station very close by 5 minutes. Plus our room was very clean. "

"The Goodenough Hotel was a perfect location for me, 10 minute walk from Kings Cross Station. Staff was very helpful and kept my luggage before and after checkout. I did not have breakfast, but there was a coffee machine in the room and options a shirt walk away. There was no WiFi in my room, hence removing a star. I would expect the WiFi to work for the price of the stay. I would stay again if I knew that I could connect to the internet. "

"I’m not sure why I did not know that I would have a shared bathroom, but it was never cleaned and wish I knew this was the case. The place is very old and a little scary, but the staff there are super friendly and helpful. It’s like a hostel where people live there… full time? Maybe halfway house?"

"Stayed 3 nights..The twin room is a bit small but the cleanliness is superb.. an extra small chair/table would make it perfect.The area is close to grocery stores. Just be careful of your belongings when using the nearest underground."

"This hotel was nice, clean for the most part (our bed cushions smelled a bit musty, though) and staff was really nice. Room was small, but it was enough for a 2 night stay. It gets really warm when it's sunny out as sun hits it directly. Not a complaint, just something to know. Cannot leave luggage, as we were told the hotel is not responsible for it, and that we could leave it just beside the reception desk, which we chose not to do. Other than that, good place to stay."

"Lovely old school hotel that included a lovely cooked breakfast. Had a friendly atmosphere which I put down to been a smaller independent hotel. 10 minutes walk from Kings Cross , St Pancaras stations , nice quiet area but excellent location. Will definitely use again"

"Joe the Manager provided great service to us. Rugs could have used a shampooing. Kitchen walls could have used repainting as there were splatter stains from prior use. Communal kitchen for free breakfast was on your own to cook or make. Bread for toast; butter; jam; milk; cereal; apple juice; orange juice; bacon and eggs. Kitchen dishes and cookware provided. Communal sitting area for eating or resting to watch TV; listen to music or read. Change of towels on request and no maid...
