"The staff members are all the kindest, most helpful, lovely people. The building is beautiful. The room was amazing with a great view of the city. "This is my second time staying because it is such a wonderful hotel. The garden alone is worth the extra cost. The rooms are very good size and the staff is well trained. It gives you a feel of good old-time charm plus model conveniences. It is not in the middle of "everything" but the train station is only 5 minute walk away, so it was not too bad at all. Ginza and Shibuya are only a few stations out, so you can get to everywhere just fine. Also, the airport bus from Narita (not Haneda)...

All the basic amenities were available. There were three breakfast options. I tried the buffet and also the Japanese breakfast. Both were good! Overall, it was a very positive stay.
