"The property is conveniently located not too far from a shotengai with many shopping and dining options. Also a 40 minute walk to Dotonbori or take a taxi for about 600jpy. The majority of staff is friendly. If only each room had its own microwave, it would be perfect."

The location is wonderful, there's a 7-Eleven right across the street for food if needed and its literally right next to Gojo Station which makes using the metro soo easy. The accommodations were perfectly adequate for what they were needed: resting and sleeping as we explored Kyoto. Will be back!!"

"I will evaluate this hotel for what it is a low budget hotel. The room is quite small, but for me and my wife that only returned to the hotel at night to sleep, it was good enough. The public bathrooms may be a problem for some people, so have that in mind. The location was excellent imo, 7min walk to Kyoto's central station. "Was absolutely delighted to stay here. At first coming from a western country it’s a shock but after the first night it’s rather comfortable. More so than the share stays and other hotels. Was a great place definitely go back. Only kettle in the room but Japan is all about dining out so great to spend the day out and come back to sleep. "

Love that there were laundry facilities in the hotel and dining tables to eat on if you want to bring back food instead of eating out all the time. Which can get expensive with kids. My only negative comment would be the pillows in the room. Just wasn’t enough. We needed at least two pillows on each bed, one just...

"The hostel was comfortable overall. The bathrooms were not that clean as the other hostels I’ve been at in Japan but still bearable. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. Only issue is the shoes (which you have to remove before getting in the beds section are placed within the dorm itself giving a nauseating smell for who is close to them, maybe place them outside?staff overall friendly and lounge really nice and equipped "
