「We were going to stay two nights there, but ended up leaving within five minutes viewing. It had bad odour of cigarette smoke and mold. In addition, the room was incredibly dirty with stains on the carpet and hair on the bed. It is not maintained professionally and therefore shouldn’t be offered to the public until it is put into serviceable condition. It was very disappointing. 」

「Rustic historical hotel, friendly service. Very set in doing things a traditional way. When checking in, even though there was six of us in line, the single check in person gave the lengthy speech to each of us, exactly the same even though we near the end of the line heard it several times by then. It would be better to shorten the talk and improve by digitalization or better written communication.」

「We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is beautifully decorated. The kitchen was well appointed, it had everything we needed and more. The bedrooms were very comfortable and there was plenty of space for people to gather and spaces to spread out.」

「The view from the patio and living area were amazing. Great location near Oak Harbor, Deception Pass, Coupeville and Anacortes. The house fit our needs for a large group and was sufficiently supplied. However…most of the beds were very uncomfortable. Especially the king room on the main floor. Vacasa, PLEASE replace this mattress before you rent this house again. One half of the mattress was unusable. Our group occupied every room and had no choice but to use it. 「Our family was visiting our son who is stationed at the Naval Air Station in Oak Harbor. The location was great for us as we were only 10 minutes away from him. The house was well kept up and large enough for our family. Great views! We even saw a whale from the deck one morning.」

「Came to Oak Harbor for a regatta and could watch from the condo. Amazing views! Well supplied kitchen with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this property.」

「The house was very comfortable. The living room windows face west toward the water and every evening the sunsets create a spectacular show. Loved the goats milk soap made by my hostess!」

「Nice large home with plenty of room for 13 to 15 people. Definitely a home where a family lives. It was not as clean as all the other VRBO I’ve stayed. You can definitely tell other live there. Check-in and check-out was very easy. Owner changed the dates of our stay because they were returning, but offered total refund if it did not work for us.」
