「Lovely hotel with lots of original features. Rooms were spotless, good decorative standard and the beds are so comfortable. Air conditioning and heating you can control yourself. DH Lawrence stayed there once. Good location, free parking, near to shops, but not too close. They do the best bourbon Ive ever tasted and lots of different drinks like English vodka. Only thing Id rate less than 5 stars was the night porter who I just found a bit difficult, not that helpful and a little odd, but that...

「Stayed recently for 2 nights (not for the first time) and it was excellent again !!! Great staff, very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Good bar food and service. My only gripe is need more choice of draught Lagers (San-Miguel on draught would be awesome please !!!!) Overall 10/10 👍」

「Absolutely beautiful hotel the staff was all very polite and welcoming me and my husband both loved the room very modern decor it was very clean and smelt lovely on arrival the spa bath in the room was perfect we stayed the Easter weekend we also had food and drinks downstairs in the restaurant the food was delicious and a fantastic range of drinks and cocktails we will definitely be returning again thank you for a fantastic stay 」

「Overall this property is excellent. Mattress for me a alittle soft but got used to it after a couple of days. Staff are excellent,helpful and cant do enough to be of service. Although they dont do breakfast as a option there's a excellent food wagon on their rear car park that does excellent breakfast and lunch options. Will definitely stay again in the near future 」

「The street you stay on has permit holder parking so as stated free parking is not available, Asked numerous times for a receipt for my stay but no communication. House was a typical terraced house suitable for business in the local area but not as a holiday base in my opinion.」

「I was phoned by the host (Paul) as there was a football match on, to warn me about the parking situation. The room is immaculate and the Paul couldn't do enough for you. 」

「Stair carpet could be doing with a hoover No mirror in the bathroom makes it hard to shave plus you have to walk through the sitting room and kitchen for a shower apart from that it was ok」

「Despite having experienced a fire, which affected the central heating, I found the owners very accommodating in supplying alternative heating. They were very friendly and did their best to make my stay as comfortable as possible.」

「Appartment was nicely equipped and cosy, pair this with regular cleaning and you get a nice experience. Only problem is beware of where you park!! There is no designated parking for guests, the only bays around are 2 hours maximim stay and traffix wardens are very active in the area.」

「I have stayed this weekend in room 113 - I have to say firstly what amazing staff! The bloke who cleaned my room helped me numerous times with locking myself out. He was so polite and nothing was too much trouble. Batman who is from Dubai , very friendly and polite and knowledgeable about his job. Had a very interesting conversation about champagne.
