"Didn’t realize this was a love hotel when booking. The neighborhood and reception desk was extremely sketchy, but the room was amazing. Sauna and bath were great and the coffee & tea was delicious. The pillows were a bit flat and the condoms were too small, but there was a massage chair in the room with mood lighting & karaoke. Overall definitely worth the price if you’re looking for a cheap stay between hotels."

"This was our final stop on our Japan trip. After staying at some poor accommodations this was a relief. We felt immediately welcomed and taken care of. Our room was available early so we were taken to our room. Some of the comments about older interiors and older style are true however, it felt like staying at the Plaza Hotel in the 90s very retro glamour. I enjoyed the decor and the amenities. "The hotel is updated and the rooms are clean. The breakfast buffet has good options. And since the baked goods come from the bakery in the lobby, they are on point. The area felt safe. There are a few train options within 5-10 minutes of walking through the park. Shinjuku station is probably more like 15-20 minutes of walking away. Do not miss the observatory at the government building towers."

"We loved this hotel and the area it was in. It was very crazy and energetic at night - such a fun place to walk around and find small shops and little restaurants. They go all in on the Godzilla theme. There are pictures of Godzilla and the movies everywhere, and statues everywhere. They even have a little bit of merchandise in the lobby. For our last two nights, we booked the top floor and they gave us Godzilla leather passport holders."
