「We had a friends’ getaway long weekend here and loved it. The property is beautiful and we loved sitting outside by the pool with coffee and listening to the birds sing. The house is roomy and very homey and the beds were soooo comfortable. The location is perfect—-less than a ten minute drive to downtown New Hope with all its shops, restaurants, etc.., but the wooded property is private and quiet and definitely feels like you’re away from it all. 「Overall it was fine. There are no close convenient stores or similar so the “not so stocked” kitchen can’t be utilized for a 3-day stay. Frustrating that there is not a close spot to get the essentials. One of the appliances didn’t work. But the bed was comfortable and the room was a nice size. 「Overall, the house had plenty of room. It was a pleasant home. The owner immediately responded when we couldn't turn on the heat. It is definitely secluded and was great for my son's dog. I would ask the owner to provide a dresser and a mirror in each of the bedrooms to accommodate her guests. Also, a lamp or some floor lighting other than overhead in the living area would have been better. And, instructions on how to navigate the TV would have been better. Overall, I give the stay a 4 star...
