Stayed for 2 nights in my way to Sapporo from Tokyo. 3 minute walk to Hakodate station, 1 min walk Morning Fish market. Great location to hop on trains for day trips. The con is room is super small.

This hotel is close to the Hakodate train and bus stations, and thus is very convenient in terms of transportation. In addition, there are seafood markets and restaurants around the area, and thus is also very convenient in terms of dinning.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfy with all the basic toiletries that you need. Location wise is also very strategic as you can walk to the JR station and morning fish market in less than 5min. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend this place to other travellers.

Perfection at great value
This was an amazing place to stay. Very clean and comfortable, nice condition, spacious by Japanese standards; excellent facilities and excellent location near railway station, all the tourist places, the dock and the famous Hakodate morning Market.

The hotel lobby and dining area are small. The rooms were really clean and okay for three adults. The bathroom like most moderate hotels are small. The people were very nice and hotel is within walking distance to train station and other places. Many businesses are closed down.

Nice great location
Solid business hotel. Great location, close to main JR station, 7-11, and restaurant. Wish there was more things to do in hotel like gym, playroom, or a cafe or someplace to grab food\drink.

A good priced hotel at a good location.
The hotel is so close to the morning market. Very easy to enjoy nice seafood every morning. The room is not big but functional. If you drive, take note that you need to use the public car park which lot can be unavailable as it is quite small. The fee of the car park is not by day, rather per entry, so if you move in and out of your lot, you have to pay everytime. Hotel offers discount rate for parking.

Worth to stay
Near to hakodate ekimae tram stop and about 10 mins walk to JR hakodate station. Eateries within walkable distance. Room is clean. Need to open the window during winter as it is quite hot even though we adjusted the heater to 16 degree.

Great location but unpleasant stay
Location is great few min way from Hakodate station, tram stop and fish market , front desk service is pretty good, but I will not stay here again. I booked 2 rooms for 1 night and both rooms had a strong drainage smell, despite opening the windows, n spraying room diffuser provided in the room, the smell didn’t go away. As room face the main rd, it’s also noisy.

pillows are hard as rock - gave me head and neck aches in the middle of the night/morning no matter the setting on flap angle, the a/c blew right at us on the bed. didn't like being blown at all night otherwise, everything else was fine

Rooms need to be aired out. First one had a strong damp smell, but they gave me another which was better though still a bit stale.This seems fairly common in these business hotels though. Many have a faint cigarette smell in the non smoking rooms as well but not bad enough to bother me .
