「This is a cozy property in a very rural setting. The host is extremely responsive and very thorough. It is quiet and private. The furniture and bed are very comfortable. The wood burning stove is a pellet stove which provides enough heat to take the edge off. The hot tub could comfortably fit 4 people. The Village of Cold Spring is less than 10 minutes away, as is the Interstate 84 bridge across the Hudson. If you want to make your own food, bring it. There is no grocery store nearby.」

「This was a perfect hideaway located 15 minutes from Beacon where the wedding was. It was reasonably priced and had so many cute accents. The host was on top of all the details and very nice in person. Would definitely recommend. The only thing I would say just for an fyi it’s better for a couple as it’s a full size bed. I went with my teen daughter and it was too small for both of us in the bed so we alternated the couch. Not a minus at all but more an fyi. Thanks so much for hosting us.」

「This house has an ideal location to see lots of local sites of interest in the Hyde Park and Poughkeepsie area. Easy trip from there to West Point, Hyde Park and the Culinary Institute from the location, and great restaurant, Tiramasu, is very close. The house is immaculate! 「We had a very pleasant stay! We came for our son’s graduation from West Point. Pat was a gracious host and made sure that we had up to date info. 「The pictures in this listing completely misrepresented the neighborhood. We only spent about an hour in the VRBO but didn't feel safe there for several reasons. First of all, the room wasn't secure because it was opened up to the neighborhood through the upper floor that let out to the fire escape. 「チェックイン時間の15時～予約済みの客がくるまではおられるようだが、 基本的には～15時まで不在の様子。 朝は毎日不在で、15時以降に戻ると書かれてあった。 初日は、連絡なしに22時前に到着したが、おられた。 部屋の鍵は、内側からかける鍵が壊れており、少し不安があった。 地域的には治安は悪くないようだが、オフィスには人がいないし、鍵も一箇所しかないので、心配な人はお勧めしません。 基本的に寒い地域だからか、全館暖房のシステムのようで、部屋に入るととても暖かかった。 ただ、温度を調整できないようだった。 また、洗面所でもお湯はしっかりでた。 寒い地域だがバスタブがなくシャワーだけなので、バスタブが欲しい。 古いモーテルで、トイレの電気をつけると、いきなり小さなゴキブリが数匹でてきた。 また、食べ物を置いておくと、アリが集まってきた。 この周辺では一番安いモーテルなので、安さだけが取り柄かな。 平屋で部屋数も多くなく、満室でなかったのもありますが、 インターネットはストレス無く繋がり、早さも問題なかった。 回線は３つあった。」

"Never get worse than this place. The hotel staff did not do anything, despite the fact that the room next door was full of noise, with teenagers fooling around late into the night, filling the hallway and my room with the smell of alcohol and marijuana. Finally, after midnight, I was given another room, but the staff didn't even help me moving out my luggage to another room.The next morning I complained about it, but they only gave me a 15% discount and did not even apologize. I was furious and appalled at their terrible response."
