I wanted to like this hotel, I really did. Unfortunately from the moment I arrived to the moment I left, the experience was not pleasant.
Night 1: I called to make sure I had a room because I was arriving late. The lady on the phone ensured I was ready to go. When I arrived, I did not have the room I reserved, even worse, front desk told me I would have to switch rooms with my 2 night stay, without having any access to any room for 8 hours the second day. However the front desk can keep my luggage for free. He offered some items from the market place.. it was definitely not a fair trade.
Ok, I don’t want to make their lives difficult, I went up to my room. Immediately I saw a chair and a stool outside of my room. I went in and put my stuff down and realized that the lights were blinking like horror movie style. I have a lot of patience so I just turned off the light. I wanted some water so I head out of my room to refill my water bottle. And there was a gentleman sitting outside of my room in the chair mentioned earlier. I was scared but kept quiet and went down to get water. I came back and the gentleman was still there.
I did not have a good sleep thinking that someone was outside of my room the whole night. I stacked chairs at the door to ensure my safety. At 5:30am, the hotel phone in my room rang and all I heard was heavy breathing. I hung up and wanted to die.
I would probably have to leave another review for the next day…. If I feel like it…
