「Our host Cathy and Carl were wonderful. Cathy presented delicious breakfast which included freshly baked scones and blueberry muffins, fruit platter and omelet with either fresh brewed coffee or numerous tea choices. The historic property is beautifully furnished with many antiques and period pieces. 」

「We loved our stay at this property! It was so clean and comfortable and felt very homey! The view of Belfast Bay from the screened porch was the icing on the cake. We prepared a lot of our own meals, and the kitchen was well-equipped for our needs. The home was in the just-right location for our explorations of Midcoast and Down East Maine.」

「In a whirlwind tour of colleges in Maine we needed a place to stay with our family. James is home was welcoming and warm, clean and cozy! Great location and our only complaint is that we wish we could have stayed longer!」

「This was my second time staying here. This time with my husband and last year with some friends. I cannot say enough positive things about this place! Location is to die for!! Beautiful home, beautiful views, and fabulous host!! We had everything we needed and then some. Very responsive and welcoming host!! I will definitely be back!」

「The house was a perfect place for the 10 of us to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. The 3 master suites worked out very well for our 2 adult daughters and spouses. Our 4 grand children had their choices of bedrooms and had plenty of space to play. The lower level theater room had ample floor space for games and watching iPads. We loved the spacious & well equipped kitchen. The large kitchen table easily accommodated the families at mealtime.」
